Clinical Positions

Ultrasonographer

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: Dependent on registry eligibility
SHIFT: Part-time, 3:30 pm-9 pm, 50 hours pp, Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call Rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: ARDMS registered in Abdomen/OB preferred or registry eligible. Experience in Vascular and/or Echo preferred. Must be willing to take call. Must be able to work independently, have pleasant personality, and be highly self-motivated.

Physical Therapist - Home Health & Hospice

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: HH-PT; HH-PTVS
SHIFT: Full-time, day shift, 80 hrs. pp
QUALIFICATIONS: Responsible, independent, compassionate Physical Therapist with great communication skills and a strong TEAM player. Must be flexible with their schedule and productive with their time.

RN Case Manager/FT - Home Health & Hospice

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: HH-RN
SHIFT: Full-time, 80 hrs. pp, day shift with on-call rotation, weekend & holiday rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: RN Case Manager for Home Health & Hospice. Extremely organized, able to prioritize and work independently in the patientís home. Caring, compassionate professional nurse with good problem solving skills. Fast paced requiring multi-tasking, great communication skills and being a team player are essential to this role. RN with Home Care and Hospice experience preferred or 5 plus years of med/surgical nursing a must.

Respiratory Therapist

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: TR-XI or TR-XII
SHIFT: Part-time, 48 hours pp, 6p-6:30a, Weekend, Holiday & On-Call Rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of AMA approved school for Respiratory Therapy. Previous emergency room, adult intensive care and medical surgical experience preferred. Must be ACLS and PALS certified and have neonatal resuscitation by completion of orientation or next available class. Michigan licensure required. Must be willing to cross train to cardio rehab. Possess good customer service skills.

RN's - per diem

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: per diem RN
SHIFT: On call as needed/per diem pool
QUALIFICATIONS: Sturgis Hospital continues on a regular basis to add to our Registered Nurse PRN/per diem pool. We have opportunities for experienced nurses providing patient care to pediatric through geriatric patients on our Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics Unit, CCU, and ED. ACLS and PALS required or willing to obtain. Experienced OB nurses require fetal monitor interpretation, neonatal resuscitation certification and must complete STABLE course.

Clerical Positions

Patient Access Service Rep/FT

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: IV
SHIFT: Full-time, 80.5 hours pp, 3rd shift/11.5 hr. shifts, Every other W/E & every other Hol Rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Assoc. Degree in Allied Health or Business Management preferred. Certified Healthcare Access associate (CHAA Certificate) preferred. Basic office & keyboarding skills with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM and the ability to use designated reference materials and office equipment (i.e. computer, printer, fax, calculator, etc.) required. Successful completion of a Medical Terminology Course required or must complete within 6 months of hire. Complete understanding of Point of service collections; specifically, must understand why it is necessary and must be able to effectively communicate this to Sturgis Hospitalís patient community. Requires the ability to utilize good judgment and maintain oneís composure in stressful situations. Requires the basic math skills needed to successfully balance cash drawer and calculate the amount due on self-pay patients.

Patient Access Service Rep/PTNB Morning

WAGE CLASSIFICATION: IV
SHIFT: Part time non-benefited, 35 hours pp, M-F, 7:00am-10:30am, No weekend or holiday rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Assoc. Degree in Allied Health or Business Management preferred. Certified Healthcare Access associate (CHAA Certificate) preferred. WAGE CLASSIFICATION: I-A
SHIFT: Full Time, 3:00pm Ė 11:30pm, 80 hours pp, FLOAT to other runs, Holiday/Weekend Rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: Perform duties involving cleaning and disinfecting areas throughout the hospital. Requires full range of body motion, eye-hand coordination, normal vision range. Requires standing, bending, stretching, and walking for long periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires exposure to blood and body fluids, requires exposure to caustic cleaning chemicals. May require the use of power equipment to strip tiled floors, hi-speed buff tiled floors and bonnet/extract carpeting. Also may require the ability to re-finish floors after they have been stripped.

SHIFT: Part Time, 64 Hours pp, 2nd shift, shift hours may vary, FLOAT Position, Weekend & holiday Rotation
