Clinical Positions

RN - Med/Surg

Wage Classification: RN

Shift: Full-time, 72 hours per pay period,     7:00 pm – 7:30 am, W/E & Holiday Rotation

Qualifications: Experience in Med/Surg/Peds preferred, providing quality patient care to pediatric through geriatric. BLS certified. Must obtain ACLS within 1 year or next available class. Experience in telemetry monitoring or will complete during orientation period. Good communication skills required. Individual must demonstrate ability to set priorities, work independently and as a team member. Must participate in quality monitoring.

RN - Perioperative

Wage Classification: RN

Shift: Part-Time, 48-64 hours pp, Flexible Day Shift, 8 hrs. per day between 5a–5:30p w/OR Call, float to Inpatient Services

Qualifications: One-year experience as an RN required, two years preferred. Circulator and/or surgical scrub experience preferred. Must be willing to work in all perioperative areas (Pre/Post-Op, Endo, OR, PACU, SPD); assignment and hours will vary depending on the surgery and procedure schedule. Must be able to work in high stress, fast-paced areas. Must obtain ACLS and PALS by completion of orientation or next available class. Must be willing to flex hours and take call for after-hours surgeries and/or procedures. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills in order to provide a variety of services in the perioperative areas.  Able to take assignment on Med/Surg, providing quality patient care to pediatric through geriatric.  Experience in telemetry monitoring or will complete during orientation period.  Must participate in quality monitoring. 

Patient Care Tech

Wage Classification:  III

Shift:  Full-time, 70 hours pp, M-F, 1:00 pm-8:00 pm, Holiday Rotation

QUALIFICATIONS:  Med/Surg hospital experience preferred.  Able to perform EKG’s required.  BLS certified or willing to obtain.  Hands-on patient care required.  Able to prioritize time, follow direction, be a self-starter and function as a team member.  Will also perform Unit Clerk duties.  Must have excellent customer service, telephone and communication skills.  Computer experience required. 

Support Services                                         

Maintenance Helper

Wage Classification:  V

Shift:  Part time, 48 hours pp, Primarily 11pm - 7:30am, This position does require flexibility of working all shifts, Weekend & Holiday Rotation


Previous maintenance experience required.  Perform all preventative and general maintenance tasks as required.  Perform tasks with security, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, boilers, grounds keeping and facility repairs.  Must be able to lift-up to 80 lbs. and follow directions given by Plant Operations Director.

Environmental Services Tech

Wage Classification:  II

Shift: Full Time, 3:00pm – 11:30pm, 80 hours pp, Holiday/Weekend Rotation

Qualifications:  Perform duties involving cleaning and disinfecting areas throughout the hospital.  Requires full range of body motion, eye-hand coordination, normal vision range. Requires standing, bending, stretching, and walking for long periods of time.  Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.  Requires exposure to blood and body fluids, requires exposure to caustic cleaning chemicals.  May require the use of power equipment to strip tiled floors, hi-speed buff tiled floors and bonnet/extract carpeting.  Also, may require the ability to re-finish floors after they have been stripped.

Clerical Positions

Patient Access Specialist

Wage Classification:  VI

Shift:  PTNB, 40 hours pp, Mon-Fri, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, Possible weekend, No holiday rotation

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Certified Healthcare Access associate (CHAA Certificate) preferred or must complete within 6 months of hire.  Basic office & keyboarding skills with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM.  Ensure efficient and orderly scheduling of patients by interacting with physician offices and/or patients.  Verification of eligibility and benefits.  Pre-authorizations, referral, pre-certification if needed for outpatient services.  Verify medical necessity.  Pre- Register scheduled accounts.  Communication and collection of patient financial responsibility.  Requires any other duties as assigned by leadership. Requires the ability to utilize good judgment and maintain one’s composure in stressful situations.  

Medical Records Clerk

Wage Classification:  IV

Shift:  Full-Time, M-F, 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 72 hours per pay period

Qualifications:  Must have the ability to type 40 - 50 wpm.  Prior experience in operating office machines preferred.  Positive attitude and good communication skills a must.  Must be able to perform multiple duties simultaneously.  Knowledge of medical terminology and organizational skills.  Previous Medical Record experience preferred. Completed Medical Terminology class, currently enrolled, or willing to complete class within 1 year of employment. High degree of confidentiality required.
